Carried out my barbel fishing apprenticeship on the cherwell, so I know all about swim location, preparation, pre-baiting,night fishing ,being patient,correct tackle,the right bait and then bagging up on monster crayfish! Then moved onto the Seacourt Stream and got rewards for the effort. Now i've seen the light and decided to learn how to do it on the Severn the last couple of years, will perhaps spread my fins a bit more this new season.
